The seed for Earth Day originated in 1963 with Senator Gaylord Nelson. The first official Earth Day was April 22nd 1970.
Now, nearly two generations later, it is time to rename this movement to “Life on Earth Day”. Understanding what it has been, what it appears to be now, what it might be, and what this means for humanity and all living species is the primary endeavor of our times.
As spa professionals and spa service providers we have intimate knowledge and understanding of the mind body connection. Now is the time to understand the nature of the body mind planet connection.
Although too often overlooked, we live in a reciprocal universe.

Oceanographer Sylvia Earle has been leading expeditions for 50 years. Speaking about earth and oceans she said, “Without blue there is no green” . Thanks to Sylvia Google Earth added Google Ocean to bring greater awareness to our species about the source of our sustenance. The essence of spa is water, we must protect this vital element. Please watch this talk and consider what each of us can do to make a difference.
So glad to read this and want to confirm your important statement: ‘The essence of spa is water, we must protect this vital element’.
I believe this is something spa depends on and can stand up for in many ways, including the one you are suggesting here.
Thanks for this post.
