Author, cellular biologist and inspirer Bruce Lipton, speaking in San Diego this week, encouraged three hundred practitioners of “Energy Medicine” to continue their efforts towards Integrative Medicine.
Integrative medicine is healing-oriented medicine that takes account of the whole person (body, mind, and spirit), including all aspects of lifestyle. It emphasizes the therapeutic relationship and makes use of all appropriate therapies, both conventional and complementary alternatives.
He praised the innovations in allopathic medicine that help us through medical trauma and emergency care.
He explained that allopathic medicine does not have precise formulas for achieving specific outcomes when it comes to healing chronic disease or cancer.
Health and well-being emerge in an environment of information and energy. Self-care is our first step towards discovering that information and creating energy.
General guidelines for health and well-being are readily available. However, we now know that a “one size fits all” approach is outmoded, ineffective and often dangerous. A personalized and integrative approach is the way of the future.
